The Garden                                                             

When the home took over the garden it was a jungle, but with everyone's help and a lot of effort, particularly from Soldierman, they have cultivated and planted the whole area. There are several fruiting trees - avocado, jackfruit, coffee, guava and they have planted banana. Some of the crops growing include - beans, corn, cassava and sweet potato.

NEW FLOORS AND WALLS   (August 2014)

Well done Soldierman. Some of the bedrooms still had mud floors and rough brick walls, so with some kind donations we bought sand and cement and thanks to Soldier all the rooms now have concrete floors and rendered walls, everyone's very happy. 

 

VISITORS FROM ENGLAND  (August 2014)

Ray and his family visited the home in August 2014. They enjoyed their visit and very generously donated 24 mosquito nets, many thanks.
